Above and Beyond – it’s Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. They recorded under numerous names, for example, Aalto, Free State, Nitromethane, OceanLab, P.O.S., Tranquality Base. Above&beyond are active since 2000, when the “Home” Chakra remix for WEA comes. Jono Grant and Paavo Siljamäki met at the University of Westminster and made the Anjunabeats label in the mid year of 1999, when the incredible club hit “Anjunabeats Volume 1” releases. The track is supported by f. ex. Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk.
As the fame of Above and Beyond expands the mark of the Anjunabeats name also grows and it brings various projects. For example Oceanlab, Tranquality Base, Tongue Of God, Rollerball, Aalto, Free State, Nitromethane, and P.O.S.
Maker Tony McGiunness reached Jono and Paavo for help in finishing Chara’s remix. They take the name Above and Beyond from the website. It was under this name they complete the remix as far as possible. In spite of the fact that they were not known at that point, their variant was on the A side of the vinyl and with the assistance of Pete Tonga the tune arrived to the first place on the British charts.
In a very short time, they got proposals from numerous different names that offered them fascinating remixing offers. Aurora “Conventional World”, Fragma “Everytime”, Armin Perpetuous Dreamer “The Sound Of Goodbye”, and Adamski “In The City” came rapidly after one another. They began building their notoriety for being driving vocal trance remixers. The most known is their remix for Madonna’s melody “What It Feels Like For A Girl”.
In 2002 begins their fame on the Scene. They played a set in Japan before 8000 individuals assembled in a Tokyo club, where the primary stars of the night were Ferry Corsten and DJ Tiesto. After it, Above and Beyond immediately started playing the world over.
They became Residents of the British Passion Club. They played in Canada, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Russia and the USA.
Everything was working out positively. It was the ideal opportunity for our own Above and Beyond creation. Their song of called “A long way From In Love” was made, whit Kate Cameron and was released in 2002.

In 2006 Their collection called “Tri-State” was released, which included delightful Trance tunes, among others: Air For Life, Can’t Sleep, Liquid Love and numerous others, in 2007 another gathering was released titled “Anjunabeats Volume Five” mixed by the Boys from Above and Beyond.
